A Developmental Delay is when your child is slow to reach one or more milestone compared to their peers or as expected by a certain age.
Private therapy services can be costly, and oftentimes these services are minimally covered or not covered at all by insurance.
Oftentimes, developmental delays are unexplained, or the medical diagnosis given, doesn’t feel like the full picture. Genetic testing can sometimes further explain these delays.
